Teaching Experience

More than 36 years of CPA Exam preparation experience. Full and part-time college teaching at Anne Arundel Community College (responsible for starting the existing accounting program), University of Baltimore, Catholic University, University of Maryland, American University, Bowie State University and Strayer University, Washington D.C. campus.

Employment Experience:

  • Junior and Senior Accountant at several CPA firms.
  • Full and part-time sole practitioner since 1972.

Gary Bulmash, DBA, CPA, MBA

All degrees earned through the University of Maryland

Gary also teaches numerous continuing education courses in accounting, auditing, and tax for CPAs in public practice through State CPA Societies and in-house for local CPA firms. This includes staff training courses. He has received several awards for outstanding teaching from these societies.

He serves as a consultant for a local CPA firm and helps with some audits, as well as serving on the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Audit Committee of a publicly traded real estate entity.

Dr. Bulmash also has experience with international CPA firm and local CPA firms during summer internships.

He also spent two years with the AICPA writing questions for the Uniform CPA Examination, an exam given throughout the entire US.

Gary writes CPE courses for the AICPA and other CPE providing entities. He has written publications for most accounting journals and speaks regularly at numerous accounting conferences throughout the country. His area of expertise is in Auditing, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Income Tax, Basic Finance and Financial Statement Analysis.

Larry Fyock, CPA, CGMA, CMA

Larry has over 25 years of accounting, education and business operations experience. He has been in CPA exam review for over 10 years. Prior to joining Yaeger CPA Review, he was a consultant, serving clients in financial services and education in a variety of strategic capacities. Larry has also held positions in industry with Sprint Corporation and was on the audit staff of Ernst and Whinney (now EY). Larry is a CPA, CGMA and CMA and has an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BBA from Loyola University.
